Indianapolis rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson put up poor passing numbers, but the rolled to a 27-13 win over the host on Thursday to complete the preseason.

It sure would’ve helped rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson to have All-Pro running back Jonathan Taylor, but the Colts will be without him the first four games.

So, if history repeats with Stroud, Young or even outlier quarterbacks such as Florida’s Anthony Richardson or Kentucky’s Will Levis, the Bears will go down as the team that doesn’t know a quarterback from a Quarter Pounder.
